OUR HISTORY
2002
Higher Status Global fuses over 20 years of seasoned entrepreneurship with the pioneering spirit of innovation. Originally formed as Higher Status Events in London in 2002, co-founders Mark and Yasmin provided event production services in the music, film, fashion and corporate worlds in London and Europe, for clients including 20th Century Fox, Disney, MGM, Intel, the Canary Wharf Group, Bank of America and Clifford Chance amongst others, producing award-nominated, creative and cutting-edge events ranging from underground dance parties, events at London Fashion Week and the Notting Hill Carnival, a charity fundraiser for the House of Commons and community events to raise awareness for social and environmental charities.
Following the 2008 global recession the team pivoted into finance where Mark’s aptitude for pattern recognition and data analysis led to the development of consistently profitable trading strategies. He successfully traded his method, designed training courses, taught hundreds of students internationally, offered personal coaching support and provided business consultancy services for the next decade.

2012
A desire to put generated wealth to work for positive social and environmental change took the team to South America in December 2012, a significant date in the Mayan calendar, to explore the Amazon biosphere and learn from indigenous elders. A synchronistic meeting in Brazil with Ruth Andrade and Paulo Mellett from Lush Cosmetics and The Blueprint Alliance reinforced our determination to direct Higher Status’ purpose more deeply towards environmental regeneration. This collaborative project was tragically set back due to the untimely passing of Paulo, a friend and brilliant visionary global peace worker, whose passion to heal the planet inspired and changed the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of eco projects in operation worldwide.
With increasing global financial uncertainty becoming evident, including the Eurozone debt crisis, Brexit and the more recent pandemic, Higher Status Global adapted to the new economic climate by embracing the digital transformation and AI revolution with industrious focus and discipline. This led to development of proprietary automated trading strategies from which Phoenix Fintech has emerged, as well as a re-established collaboration with Ruth and our global network of eco-partners through the Open World Alliance, to continue developing the seeds previously planted.

We are driven with dedication to long-term progress and catalysing positive systemic transformation. We have expanded our team, broadened our connections, built strong partnerships and are driven with dedication as we prepare for imminent launch of primary product offering Phoenix Fintech ahead.
